Who we are
SyncBank is operated by Sam Dsgn Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit the SyncBank website, request a trial, contact support, or purchase a SyncBank plan.
If you have a privacy question or want to exercise a legal right, email support@syncbank.app.
What we collect
Website and technical data
When you visit the site, our hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referral URL, and request logs to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
Theme and UI preferences
The website stores small pieces of local browser data, such as your light or dark theme preference, so the site works properly and remembers your settings.
Trial and support information
If you request a trial or contact us, we may collect your email address, your message, and any details you choose to send us, including logs, screenshots, or troubleshooting information.
Payment and billing information
If you purchase SyncBank, payments are processed by our payment provider. We may receive transaction metadata such as your name, email address, plan, country, billing status, and purchase timestamps. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
How we use it
Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we generally rely on the following legal bases:
Self-hosted app and bank data
SyncBank is designed to run locally on your own machine or infrastructure. Your bank credentials are handled through your bank and open banking provider flows, not by us. Your transaction data, sync state, and configured destinations are intended to remain on your device or in the third-party tools you connect.
We do not need your transaction database or bank login credentials to sell you the product. We only receive that kind of data if you intentionally send it to us for support.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with service providers that help us run the product and business, such as payment processors, email or support tools, hosting providers, and infrastructure vendors, but only for legitimate business purposes.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including providing the service, resolving disputes, keeping appropriate business records, and meeting legal obligations. Support emails, trial requests, and billing records may be retained for a reasonable period based on the nature of the request and applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to request a copy of your data. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email support@syncbank.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
